Brock Edward Lesnar is an American professional mixed martial artist who currently fights for the UFC and is also a former professional wrestler. Lesnar was born on July 12, 1977 and grew up on a small farm in the suburban city of Webster in South Dakota. Brock became prominent during his tenure with the WWE where he won the coveted WWE Championship on three occasions and holds the unique record of being the youngest ever WWE champion, according to the statistics released by the promotion. Post WWE in 2004, Lesnar decided to pursue a career in NFL. He was selected to be a part of Minnesota Vikings, who later showed him the door because of his absence from practice sessions. Brock went back to his former passion and wrestled for New Japan Pro Wrestling and in his very first match for the promotion; he captured the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

Lesnar took his first step towards a career in mixed martial arts when he made an appearance at the ring post the main event at K-1 Hero at Las Vegas. He made his intentions public about joining mixed martial arts. To make his new endeavor successful, he trained under famous instructor Greg Nelson at the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy with more assistance from Marty Morgan, head assistant wrestling coach at the University of Minnesota. During that time, he made an announcement that he had inked a deal with K-1 and would make his debut at K-1 Dynamite at a USA show against a Korean opponent named Choi Hong-man. When the match was about to happen, a last minute replacement was made as Min Soo Kim fought in place of Hong-man. Lesnar annihilated Soo Kim in his very first MMA bout and was declared victorious by the match referee because of his vicious strikes.

Lesnar moved onto UFC and fought Frank Mir, a former UFC heavyweight champion and had to submit when Mir applied the knee bar. Then in his second fight he beat Heath Herring. Lesnar is a father to Mya Lynn, his six year old daughter with his then fiancée Nicole with whom he broke up. He started dating Rena Mero and is a step father to her child.
