   kimbo slice is just a novelty, he wouldn’t stand a chance against any experienced mma fighter.

   Playboy: Meanwhile Shaw’s EliteXC got its star, Kimbo Slice, on CBS last spring. He was the first MMA fighter on prime time network TV.
   White: That was a freak show.
   Playboy: How many of your 180 or so UFC fighters could take him?
   White: All of them. He may be the toughest 250 pound guy at your backyard barbecue, but I’ve got a kid, Urijah Faber, 145 pounds, who would beat him. We are a world class sport not a freak show.
   Playboy: Were you ever tempted to sign Kimbo Slice?
   White: We could have taken the freak route years ago with a bigger name than him.
   Playboy: Who?
   White: Mike Tyson. We all talked about it when we were bleeding money, but we backed out because it would have been a stunt.
   I love Tyson, but I love our sport more.

   the whole fight night “was rigged” they have all been rigged by xc-cbs. the commentators are rigged (frank the “self proclaimed” legend shamrock) the refs are rigged as well as the fighters ****they should all be sued for fraud**** kimbo only got hit once or twice, (and not hard) -these are fist with gloves not baseball bats- push away kick….it has to touch the person to push them ……rewind the dvr/youtube it and see for yourself….as for xc they should change their name to “wwf”
   the shamrocks are very good at what they do (this is not fighting anymore) ***make money, make money, make money***
   This was a great fight card, but the fights were junk.
   rua-not his best work…his fighting style is on the ground…..he did not take any real attempt to win his fight
   the chicks… “ok”..the cute one is fun to watch - but not like the last fight…..how many real punches were thrown……looked like a bunch of hugging to me
   shields….. i like normally to watch a gracie fighter, i hope this camp doesn’t get tied up into fake matches *this would not be good for the respected gracies*…….but everyone has their price…..don’t they.
   how many fighters go to make weight (kimbo-234) (shamrock-206)? wtf then throw in another 206lb-er? yes i do fight in mma and am embaraced that xc has gone how it has. these guys get paid to do what they are told and not for what they can do. Kimbo…..ok he has only had a few fights…..then why the hell was shamrock going to fight him???????to give kimbo an advantage to win, come on. (ken shamrock took a punch out of the ring to sell more tickets and put more money in his pocket….he never really planned on fighting kimbo) shamrock says like all the others “i’ll fight him right now”…..knowing the commission would never allow it in a million years, for him to get in the ring with stitches “my guess…….kimbo never fights mma again but goes home with more money than he could ever dream of. *for all of you that think xc needs kimbo to sell more tickets……..you can’t sell what people wont buy ***currently xc is selling a lot of bs and mma fans are not going to keep buying it. why do you think this is on cbs….most of these “new viewers” have never seen what a real mma fight should look like.
   i don’t blame kimbo. a hometown rep doesn’t pay the bills……television does.
   Elite xc will go on; i dont want a ufc monopoly either. But you can only kick a dog so many times before it bites you.
   Enough is Enough Frank.
   As for those who are not blind “cung lee” is not the next Bruce Lee. He’s the next to be marketed by Elite xc as if every one of his fights are like (the final fight from “Bloodsport”) Cung Lee is going to be in a movie…he is just like Jackie Chan. Lets keep the fighters, fighters and the actors, actors or the ufc will be the only kid on the block. I would love for every fight to look as good as in the movies, but if these bouts are not real they are meaningless ((((( bouts to find the true ultimate martial arts style(s) )))))

   I say knocked the buck out. Great bare knuckle fighter, still has a whole lot to prove as a MMA fighter.

   just like everyone knew he would he no where near the leval of the UFC guys he would not win a figth at all period
