Ufc: What Are Your Thoughts On Kimbo Slice On The Ultimate Fighter?
I don’t think you’ll get someone from the UFC to answer your question, but I think it has showed exactly what everyone has said about Kimbo. He is a big humble guy, who wants to learn as much as possible and doesn’t think he is Mr. Big Shot. He knows his stand up isn’t just the best, but he also knows if he gets those big black paws on ya, you will go down. The fight with Roy Nelson was by far not Kimbos best performance, but what do you do when you gotta lard belly on top of you like that? I really hope we get to see Kimbo face a striker at the finale. He needs more time to work on his ground game (And it makes me wonder how serious he took Bas Rutten, because he should’ve learned some ground skills there)

white isn’t going to turn down money. unfortunately. If he wants to be sincere about mma being a sport like baseball or the nfl, then he needs to live up tp those expectations. Kimbo is a king of the cage level fighter and will be fighting in the ufc regardless of his tuf performance. Same goes for rankings, title shots, and contenders. the ufc knows this already, they do a much better job in the wec, but for now they seem to be feeding the hype machine, and till they start acting like this sport is a SPORT, and make fighters EARN title shots and contender status, we will be stuck with the kimbo’s of mma.
in all honesty, Ultimate Fighter has shown a side of Kimbo that the world didn’t know existed, but even with that i dont believe that he belongs on the Ultimate Fighter or in the UFC simply because he isn’t an MMA fighter. Kimbo Slice is a street brawler and no matter how much training he receives, deep down he will still be a street brawler, i mean he said it himself on the show that he isn’t an MMA fighter, he’s a street fighter. If you can admit that you aren’t an MMA fighter, then why would you still enter a company whose single goal is to find MMA fighters to fight in the UFC?

i mean he fought in elite xc and lost,he had no experiance except in streetfighting.
and i can almost garentee that if it was just bare knuckle fighting in the backyard no gloves no elbows no knees,kimbo would **** up alot of the ufc fighters.
It’s not over yet, but i can tell you one thing, kimbo isn’t a good mma fighter, and i don’t call him a street fighter either because none of his you tube fights were street fights. In a street fight there are no rules, his fights had rules, like only punching, no grappling, no knees, no elbows, ect. That’s not a street fight. And Secondly he’s not athletic at all he’s all muscle, i respect him for going on the show to prove to that he can fight, and he has earned alot of respect from me, but he’s not a good fighter, he’s another thug who thinks he’s a bad ***. he’ll never make it against top level competition. Who are they going to put him against unless he goes to LHW maybe some of the low level guys, he might be able to get a lucky shot in and get a knock out, MAYBE. but everybody else he’s going to get knocked out, or submitted, especially if he fights at heavyweight. Name any top 10 fighters in any division that Kimbo is going to beat.
Its entertaining, however it is only because of what I just said. ‘entertainment’. If Kimbo wasn’t a street hardened bare knuckle boxer with his immense youtube following, he would be looked over by the UFC. He just isn’t that good, I am sorry but it is true. The guy has great hands and power but there is more to it than that.
IDK if he deserves all the attention he is getting, he has no ground game wat so ever. But i understand people want to see him fight and that he is a good boxer so that’s why the UFC keeps him around. People like to see Kimbo fight. Kimbo will never fight for the belt in the UFC, but hey its ok if the UFC gives him some fights
all i can say is his ground game is shitt! someone needs to tell this dude to move his hips! see how his gurad got passed so easily with no effort whatsoever! moving your hips is like the number one thing in grappling

i expected kimbo to be an *** and think he is better than everyone else and start problems with everyone, but he is actually a good guy that is mad determined.

Its not even good Entertainment anymore!!! His fight was horrible to say the least!!! I heard he will come back and put on a good fight but i will believe it when i see it!!!
